Seaside souvenirs: driftwood heart

Create a wooden heart from wood from the beach

Make a beautiful heart from driftwood you collected on holiday.

Gather far more than you think you'll need so you have plenty of shapes and sizes to choose from. Take an A3 sheet of foam board and arrange driftwood pieces to form the heart outline. Glue to the board using a glue gun and trim away excess board. Arrange driftwood inside the heart shape and glue in position, building up one to two layers to hide the foam board backing. Either display the heart propped up or fix a loop on the back to hang it up.
