Seaside souvenirs: pebble tealights

Piles of pretty pebbles give off a glow

Display pretty pebbles, or little shards of glass softened and rounded by the sea, in charming tealight holders.

Place a small, shallow tealight holder at the bottom of a sturdy glass tumbler then arrange small pebbles and glass pieces around it. Place a
tealight in a second holder and place on top of the first one (if you have lots of pebbles, you could put some pebbles in instead of the first
holder, to raise up the second one). Continue adding small pebbles up
to the top of the tealight. We used Glimma tealight holders from Ikea (0845 355 1141).
