Go for a Crocus Walk

Organise a Crocus Walk, in support of Breakthrough Breast Cancer - and make it anything you want it to be

A Crocus Walk is a chance to get together with friends, embrace the great outdoors and celebrate those you remember and love while raising money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

With the emphasis on fun and enjoyment, there are no set routes or rules so your walk really can be anything you want it to be. Here are just a few ideas: a Sunday stroll; walking the dog; laps of the local park; clambering up hills; a ramble on the heath.

The money you raise will make a real difference to the 46,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the UK and help Breakthrough Breast Cancer achieve its vision of a future free from the fear of breast cancer.

The Allaboutyou.com Crocus Walk

We've done it! The All About You team Crocus Walk took place on Friday March 13 - and here we all are in Regent's Park half way through the walk and stopping for a breather. The sky was ominously grey but the rain held off - though brollies were at the ready just in case!

Starting off from our office at Oxford Circus we first visited our sister magazine offices in Soho, buckets held aloft, and - after stripping our colleagues of their cash - headed to Regent's Park for a turn about the grounds, before back to our office for tea and biscuits.

Once the buckets were emptied we had a grand total of £157 and loose change - and our Crocus Walk Just Giving page is still open for business here, so please do donate anything you can for this worthy cause.
