Fight off colds

Regular sex or orgasms helps raise your levels of an antigen called immunoglobulin A, which is the body's first line of defence against colds and flu. It works by binding to bacteria that invade the body, then alerting the immune system to destroy them. Scientists at Wilkes University in the US found that people who'd had sex at least once or twice a week had higher levels of this bacteria-basher than those who had sex less often.
