Fashion and beauty Q&A: winter coat
Want to make a style investment this winter? Read what our expert has to say

This year I haven't been spending as much on clothes as I normally do, but I plan to make an investment in a really good winter coat. Any advice on what to choose?
Before you splash out on a winter coat make sure you know which style will suit your body shape - take a look at Prima magazine's October issue which has a coat story that will help you find a style to flatter your figure.
You also have to ask yourself how long you want to keep the coat? If it's for years then a classic style such as single-breasted belted coat in black, camel or navy will guarantee you'll it wear time and time again. If on the other hand you want an ultra-fashionable style just for this season then a voluminous cocoon style coat or a 1940s faux fur little number will be just the ticket.
