The Good Housekeeping Institute put mail order sausages to the test and here are the results...

Our verdict: These sausages are meaty, well seasoned and thick. The Rutland was our favourite - a fun sausage with a Stilton hit which was not overpowering. Our suggestion would be to smother it in mustard serve as a sausage sandwich.
