Mint juleps
Ingredients
Handful mint, crushed, bruised or chopped
A little sugar
Crushed ice
Bourbon
Mint sprigs to garnish
Mint juleps are not the demure drink that their Southern Belle name conjures up. Whichever of the numerous versions of this classic cocktail you choose to make, it packs a hefty punch of bourbon whisky.
