Mixed Nut Praline
Ingredients
250g (9oz) golden caster sugar
175g (6oz) mixed nuts, like walnut pieces, macadamias and brazil nuts
This sweet treat is straightforward to make and delicious to eat!

Method
1 Line a baking sheet with baking parchment.
2 Put sugar into a pan and warm over a low heat.
3 Shake the pan to dissolve evenly.
4 Keep a close eye on the pan and cook until the sugar is dark golden brown.
5 Pour in nuts and stir once with a wooden spoon.
6 Dip the base of the pan quickly in and out of cold water to stop the sugar burning.
7 Pour the praline on to baking parchment sheet and spread out.
8 Wash the pan and spoon immediately.
9 Leave the praline to cool for 20min.
10 Break into pieces with the end of a rolling pin.
