Tenderstem Broccoli with Almonds

Ingredients

550g (1¼lb) tenderstem broccoli
15g (½oz) butter
1tsp caster sugar
Squeeze of lemon juice
50g (2oz) flaked almonds, toasted


A great, colourful accompaniment to any main course

Method

1 Cook the broccoli in lightly salted boiling water for 3-4min until just tender. Drain. Melt butter and sugar in a pan and add broccoli, lemon juice and almonds. Toss for 1min. Serve.
