Teriyaki salmon

Ingredients

4 salmon fillets
4tbsp teriyaki sauce
2tsp fresh ginger, grated
2 spring onions, finely shredded
1/4 red pepper, deseeded and finely shredded

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Shop-bought teriyaki sauce is used in this Japanese-style dish.

Method

1. Place the salmon fillets on a foil-lined grill, skin side down and season. Mix together the teriyaki sauce and ginger and spread over the salmon.
 
2. Place the fish under a medium-high grill and cook for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through. Remove and place on warmed serving plates. Sprinkle over the spring onion and red pepper and serve immediately with steamed Asian greens and rice.


Cook's Tip
You can also cook the salmon in a hot oven for 15-20 minutes if you prefer not to use the grill. Serve with steamed Asian greens and rice for an exotic supper.
