Good Housekeeping Book Awards 2008

In April, we asked you to help us judge one of the prizes at this year's prestigious Good Housekeeping Book Awards by telling us the name of your favourite novelist. We received a fantastic response and the results were announced at a star-studded event, which took place at Foyles book shop in Charing Cross, London.

Presenting the awards was our panel of expert judges, including broadcaster Jenni Murray, novelist Victoria Hislop, GH Books Editor Kerry Fowler and Editor Louise Chunn. The event was attended by some of Britain's best-loved writers, such as Kathy Lette, Sue Gee, Katharine Whitehorn and Sally Brampton. We would like to say a big thank you to Jacob's Creek for providing the wine and also to Foyles for providing such a great location.
