Ingredients

  • 200 gram(s) stilton, roughly crumbled
  • 50 ml double cream
  • 1 whole(s) nutmeg, to grate
  • Milk, as needed
  • 2 small Cox's apples, cored and sliced
  • Juice ½ lemon
  • 120 gram(s) bag Sainsbury's Baby Herb Salad Leaves
  • 50 gram(s) hazelnuts, toasted and roughly chopped

Method

  1. Put 125g (4oz) stilton into a small pan with the cream and a grating of nutmeg. Stir over a gentle heat. Thin with a drop of milk if too thick.
  2. In a large bowl, stir the apples into the lemon juice. Add the salad leaves, season and toss well.
  3. Divide among four plates along with the nuts and remaining stilton. Drizzle with the dressing and serve at once.
