Barbecued Sesame Prawns

• 1  level tbsp sesame seeds
• 1 tablespoon(s) sesame oil
• 2  garlic cloves, crushed
• 1 tablespoon(s) sukiyaki sauce
• 1 tablespoon(s) mirin seasoning
• 24  peeled raw tiger prawns, tails on
• 8  bamboo skewers, soaked in warm water for 5min

Method

1. Put the sesame seeds, sesame oil, garlic, sukiyaki sauce and mirin in a large sealable container. Add the prawns, season and mix everything together.
2. Cover and chill for at least 30min, or up to 24hr if you want to get ahead.
3. Push three prawns on to each bamboo skewer. Cook on the barbecue, turning occasionally, for 5min or until the prawns go pink.
