Ingredients

  • 2  finely chopped celery sticks
  • 50  vodka
  • 2 large pinches of celery salt
  • 2  x 400g tins cherry tomatoes
  • Half tablespoon(s) Worcestershire sauce
  • few dashes of Tabasco
  • 400 gram(s) dried penne

Method

  1. Heat 1tbsp olive oil in a large pan and gently cook 2 finely chopped celery sticks for 10min until softened. Add 50ml (2fl oz) vodka and 2 large pinches of celery salt and bubble for 30sec.
  2. Pour 2 x 400g tins cherry tomatoes into the pan and stir in ½tbsp Worcestershire sauce and a few dashes of Tabasco; season. Bring to the boil and simmer for 15min. Toss through hot cooked pasta and serve garnished with a large handful of rocket and parmesan shavings.
