Chocolate cupcakes with white chocolate frosting

• 200 gram(s) butter
• 200 gram(s) caster sugar
• 150 gram(s) self-raising flour
• 50 gram(s) cocoa
• 1⁄2tsp baking powder
• 4 medium eggs, beaten
• milk to loosen (about 1tbsp)
• For the frosting:
• 200 gram(s) butter
• 200 gram(s) icing sugar
• 100 gram(s) bar white chocolate, melted and cooled
• seeds of 1 vanilla pod
• chocolate curls, to top

Method

1. Preheat oven to gas 4/180°C (170°C in a fan oven). In a mixer, cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Mix in flour, cocoa and baking powder, then whisk in eggs gradually. Add milk to loosen mixture. Drop spoonfuls into cases and bake for 15-20 mins. Allow to cool.
2. To make frosting, in a bowl, cream butter and icing sugar, then stir in melted chocolate and vanilla seeds. Ice cupcakes generously and top with chocolate curls.
