  • 18  Medjool dates
  • 90 gram(s) fresh goat's cheese
  • 90 gram(s) mascarpone
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • very finely sliced candied clementine or orange peel

Method

  1. Slit the dates to remove the stone. Whizz the goat's cheese and mascarpone with 2 tablespoons of maple syrup in a food processor until creamy, and fill the dates generously. You can prepare these in advance, cover and chill them, then remove from the fridge about 30 minutes before eating. Shortly before serving, drizzle over the remaining syrup and top with glacé fruit.
