Ingredients

  • 1 kilogram(s) (2lb 4oz) Brussels sprouts, trimmed
  • 200 gram(s) (7oz) pancetta or streaky bacon, chopped into strips
  • 410 gram(s) can cannellini beans, drained
  • 25 gram(s) (1oz) grated Grana Padano or other hard Italian cheese

Method

  1. In a pan of boiling water, cook sprouts till tender. Meanwhile, in a frying pan, cook pancetta till crisp. Drain sprouts and add to pancetta along with beans, and heat through.
  2. Season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper and grate over cheese before serving.
