GETTY soba noodles

Ingredients

  • 2  level tbsp sesame seeds
  • 200 gram(s) pack soba noodles
  • 3 tablespoon(s) shoyu (Japanese soy sauce) or light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon(s) sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon(s) rice vinegar

Method

  1. Dry-fry sesame seeds until golden. Put to one side.
  2. Cook noodles in a pan of boiling salted water for 5min or until tender but firm. Drain and cool under cold running water. Drain again and put into a bowl.
  3. Add the toasted sesame seeds, shoyu, oil and the rice vinegar and toss to coat the noodles. Chill until needed or for up to 24hr.
