Ingredients

U.S. U.K. Conversion chart
  • 4  oranges, juice of 2, and 2 segmented (use navel or blood oranges, if you can)
  • 4 tablespoon(s) golden caster sugar
  • 2-3tbsp Grand Mariner, or your favourite liqueur
  • 565 ml carton double cream
  • 1 handful almonds, toasted (optional)

Method

  1. In a large bowl, add orange juice, sugar and Grand Marnier and stir well till sugar dissolves. Add cream and whisk it all together till gentle peaks form, being careful not to overwhisk, then spoon into small glass dishes and layer with orange segments. Top with toasted almonds, if using, and serve with some thin buttery biscuits.
