Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 4  pork loin steaks
  • 2 clove(s) garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Dijon mustard
  • 250 ml sweet cider
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 2  red apples, each cut into 8 wedges
  • 200 ml single cream
  • 3-4 whole sage leaves
  • Mashed potatoes, to serve

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the loin steaks and fry very lightly on both sides. Add the garlic, mustard, cider, stock and apples, bring to the boil and simmer for 5-6 minutes.
