Ingredients

  • 225 gram(s) (8oz) medium egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoon(s) sunflower oil
  • 350 gram(s) (12oz) pork fillet, thinly sliced
  • 2 clove(s) garlic, crushed
  • 1 bunch(es) spring onions, trimmed and finely sliced
  • 1  red and 1 yellow pepper, deseeded and finely sliced
  • 3 tablespoon(s) dark soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoon(s) dry sherry
  • 2 teaspoon(s) Bart Chinese Five Spice Paste (or mix five spice powder with a little oil)

Method

  1. Cook noodles according to packet instructions. Heat a wok or large frying pan till really hot, then add oil. Add pork and cook over a high heat, stirring all the time. When browned, add garlic, spring onions and peppers. Cook for a few more mins.
  2. In a jug or bowl, mix together soy sauce, sherry and five spice paste then pour over meat and veg. Bubble for a minute, till the smell of alcohol has gone, then stir in noodles to heat through. Add a little water if sauce gets too thick, then serve.
