Purple sprouting broccoli, lemon and pinenuts pasta

• 300 gram(s) conchiglie pasta
• 150 gram(s) purple (or green) sprouting broccoli
• 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
• 25 gram(s) pinenuts
• 2  sliced garlic cloves.
• zest of 1 lemon

Method

1. Cook pasta according to the packet instructions. Add broccoli to the pasta for the last 5min of cooking time. Heat 1tbsp olive oil in a frying pan and add pinenuts and garlic cloves. Cook gently until the garlic is just golden, then set aside. Drain pasta and broccoli and return to pan. Add garlic and pinenuts to the pasta, followed by 1tbsp extra virgin olive oil and the zest. Toss well and serve with lemon wedges to squeeze over.
