Ingredients

U.S. U.K. Conversion chart
  • Plain flour to dust
  • 200 gram(s) ready-made puff pastry
  • 3 tablespoon(s) Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Caramelised Red Onion Chutney
  • Half tablespoon(s) thyme leaves
  • 150 gram(s) soft goat's cheese, crumbled
  • 40 gram(s) (1½oz) watercress
  • Extra virgin olive oil to drizzle

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 220ºC (200ºC fan) mark 7. Lightly dust the worktop with flour and roll out the pastry into a rectangle measuring 30.5cm x 23cm (12in x 9in). Transfer to a baking sheet and neaten the edges if necessary. Lightly score a 2.5cm (1in) border with a sharp knife and prick all over the base of the pastry with a fork (except for the edge).
  2. Spread the chutney within the pastry border. Sprinkle with the thyme leaves and arrange the goat's cheese on top. Bake the tart for 15-20min until the pastry is golden and risen and the cheese is melted.
  3. Scatter the tart with the watercress and serve at once, cut into slices, drizzled with a little extra virgin olive oil.
