Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil or knob of ghee
  • 1  onion, finely chopped
  • 1  green chilli, finely chopped
  • 2.5cm/1in fresh ginger, finely grated
  • 400 gram(s) carton mango pieces, chopped into small pieces
  • 1-2tbsp onion seeds

Method

  1. In a pan, heat oil or ghee, then add onion and chilli and cook till onion is soft, but not brown. Add ginger and cook for a further few mins, then tip in mango, onion seeds and 2tbsp water, and cook till mango begins to break down. Taste and season.
