Ingredients

  • 500 gram(s) tub fresh vanilla custard
  • 125 gram(s) dark chocolate, minimum 72% cocoa solids
  • 75 gram(s) milk chocolate, minimum 40% cocoa solids, such as Valrhona, chopped

Method

  1. Pour the custard into a small pan and put over a low heat. Add the dark and milk chocolate and stir gently until thoroughly melted.
  2. Pour the mixture into a freezable container and cool. Freeze for up to 6hr, whisking every hour until firm. Scoop the ice cream into balls and serve with dessert biscuits on the side.
