125 gram(s) (4oz) 70 per cent cocoa solids dark chocolate
125 (4oz) butter
275 gram(s) (10oz) caster sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
200 gram(s) (7oz) plain flour
25 gram(s) (1oz) cocoa
1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
75 gram(s) (3oz) milk chocolate chunks
75 gram(s) (3oz) white chocolate chunks

Preheat oven to gas mark 3/170°C (160°C in a fan oven). In a heat-proof bowl, melt cocoa solids, chocolate and butter together over a pan of hot water. Cool, then beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Fold in remaining ingredients.
Line a baking sheet with baking parchment and drop on mixture, tbsp by tbsp 5cm/2in apart. Bake for 8- 10 mins, till cookies are cracked but soft. Cool for 5 mins, then transfer to rack.
