Cold weather means it's time to cook up sweet parsnips and other root vegetables

onionsAs the nights draw in and the bitter frosts begin its easy to feel low, but luckily this weather brings out the sweetness in parsnips and other roots. Cranberries and chestnuts make a welcome first appearance.
