Well seasoned
Next time you marinate meat, make twice as much and freeze in a labelled bag for up to a month. Great for impromptu barbecues.
Onions without tears
Chop a pile of onions, then open-freeze on baking trays before bagging and freezing for up to six months. When a recipe calls for a medium onion, spoon in 125g (4oz) frozen pieces.
Dessert in a flash
Dip strawberries or stoned cherries into melted plain, milk or white chocolate. Leave to harden on a non-stick baking sheet before serving.
