Drop a dress size: The supermodel
Top tips to dressing slim from those in the know: American supermodel Crystal Renn reveals her secrets
As a model you must have tried on lots of different outfits - what do you think are the most flattering styles for larger women?
Absolutely, and yes there have been quite a few! Wrap dresses and low V-necks are very flattering. I always have to have a wrap dress - they are so versatile.
And what not to wear?
Although it is always fun trying on new designs there are some things I wouldn't wear on a day-to-day basis; hot pants, crop tops and oversized-layered pieces (they just add bulk), big puff sleeves and oversize shoulders are all a no-go.
Dress, Anna ScholzWhich designers do you rate?
Anna Scholz is the only designer who really understands that girls with curves also want the hot catwalk looks. Her clothes are fantastic. Beautifully cut, sexy, great fabrics and made extremely well. I might be a size 14 but that doesn't mean I have to be a shrinking violet and that is pretty much Anna's philosophy too.
What advice would you give to our readers on how to dress to flatter your figure?
Have confidence in yourself and your shape. Remember that the average size these days is a size 14, so you're in good company! Find one good thing about your body and accentuate it. And don't be afraid to experiment with shape, colour and pattern.
