How it works

Our three-day plan means you eat around 50 per cent of your food raw. This revs up a sluggish circulation, and the fibre in fruits and vegetables speeds through the digestive system, helping to remove toxins. The foods you will eat are low in fat but make the body work harder to process, so you’ll burn calories faster. Antioxidant vitamins, including A, C and E, will boost energy levels and the way your hair and skin look and feel. Choose a long weekend so you can relax, but aim to walk 30 minutes a day to boost weight loss. Start your blitz on Friday and you could be 3lb lighter on Monday!

Day 1

When you wake up 1 cup warm water with fresh lemon juice
Breakfast
Small bowl bran-style cereal with skimmed milk and 1 chopped apple
Mid-morning snack
1 pear, handful of almonds
Lunch
1 ripe avocado, filled with 1 tbsp hummus, ½ bag baby leaf salad drizzled with 1 tsp olive oil
Afternoon snack
2 satsumas
Supper 
1 medium salmon steak grilled with 3 cherry tomatoes, ½ bag watercress drizzled with 1 tsp olive oil
Just before bed
1 cup ginger tea

Day 2

When you wake up 1 cup warm water with fresh lemon juice
Breakfast Small bowl porridge with skimmed milk, handful fresh berries
Mid-morning snack
2 plums
Lunch
1 medium jacket potato with 1 tbsp chunky salsa, ½ bag mixed salad leaves drizzled with 1 tsp olive oil
Afternoon snack
1 apple
Supper
Herb omelette made with 2 free-range eggs, handful fresh parsley, 2 cherry tomatoes
Just before bed
1 cup peppermint tea

Day 3

When you wake up 1 cup warm water with fresh lemon juice
Breakfast
½ grapefruit, 1 carton of natural live yogurt
Mid-morning snack
Large wedge of melon
Lunch
1 carton organic vegetable soup, 2 rice cakes
Afternoon snack
Handful of grapes
Supper
1 medium lamb chop, 2tbsp each sweet potato and green beans
Just before bed
1 cup peppermint tea
