How did you do?
Mostly As
You're one supremely confident lady! Well done you, but take care that your confidence doesn't come across as brash or overbearing. ‘A sign of true confidence is that you can make other people feel comfortable,' says Jan Ferguson, author of 'Perfect Confidence' (Random House, £7.99). So while you're basking in the glory of everyone's undivided attention, look out for anyone on the outskirts and make them feel welcome.
Mostly Bs
You might not class yourself as confident, but you are. You can handle situations assertively without being aggressive or dismissive. There are things that might faze you, but that's only natural. ‘Even the most confident people will sometimes admit to feeling far from it,' says Jan. Make sure you're getting the most out of your confident self by pursuing your interests and hobbies and regularly meeting new people.
Mostly Cs
Your lack of confidence means life is passing you by. Start by setting yourself little challenges for example, start a conversation with a stranger in the supermarket queue as each achievement will give you a small confidence boost. ‘When you meet people, you don't have to be the star of the room,' says Jan. ‘Just smile and appear interested in people, and they will automatically accept you.'
