Lesley and Pea brought their idiosyncratic style from London to St Leonards-on-Sea, creating a home full of personality and a tea room packed with art, cakes and crockery. The seafront tea room is in a former post office.

The Ikea sofa is one of only a few new purchases in the house. Both lamps are from charity shops, as are the two tables (the one on the left is Ercol), and the paintings are by Lesley.

The two armchairs were found in a skip and locally re-upholstered. Lesley and Pea découpaged their charity shop table with cuttings from a children\'s science book.

The couple are self-confessed junk shop addicts and have filled their Ladderax shelves with finds including books, records and Homemaker and Royal Albert crockery.
