Scrape off excess lip balm. Pretreat with a prewash stain remover and wash as usual. If the stain remains, treat again with prewash stain remover and wash again.

OR

Scrape off excess lip balm. Pretreat with a prewash stain remover and wash as usual. Using a clean, white cloth, apply a proprietary dry-cleaning solvent to the stained area and blot until the liquid is absorbed. Repeat, applying and blotting the solution until the stain disappears. Wash again.

 

Upholstery

Scrape off excess lip balm. Using a clean white cloth, sponge the stain with a proprietary dry-cleaning solvent and blot until the solvent is absorbed. Keep sponging and blotting until the stain disappears.

 

Carpet

Scrape off excess lip balm. Using a clean white cloth, sponge the stain with a proprietary dry-cleaning solvent and blot until the solvent is absorbed. Keep sponging and blotting until the stain disappears or is no longer absorbed into the cloth.

If the stain remains, mix one tablespoon of washing up liquid and one tablespoon of white vinegar with two cups of warm water. Sponge the stain with the detergent/vinegar solution and blot until the liquid is absorbed. Sponge with cold water and blot dry.
