Stain of the week: small animal urine
Hot or cold water? Scrub or scrape? A little know-how gets the best results when fighting stains...
REMOVING SMALL ANIMAL URINE STAINS FROM CLOTHES
Rinse in cold water and then wash immediately. For dried stains, soak in concentrated liquid detergent solution and then wash normally. For stubborn stains on white fabrics (other than nylon) soak in a solution of 20% volume hydrogen peroxide (available at chemists) - dilute 1 part to 9 parts water - then wash normally again using biological powder.
