Freestanding bath on wooden feet in large white bathroom

A streamlined look

‘The trend for freestanding baths was started by the renewed enthusiasm for antique roll-top baths towards the end of the 1990s,' says Heather-Joy Crawford, Marketing Director of Adamsez. ‘But that look is becoming a little dated now and we are seeing a much higher demand for more clean-lined baths. Freestanding baths that sit on chunky wooden feet are particularly popular.' The Celia collection by Cologne-based designer Cornelia Thies is based on the oval shape. Celia bath, £1491.40, Ideal Standard.
