The Neff U1644 electric oven (£1072-£1215; 0870 513 3090; neff.co.uk) scooped the Best Appliance award. It's packed with features busy cooks will find useful, including telescopic rails so shelves slide out to give easier access to the food you’re cooking. The door handles rotate for a more comfortable grip and the judges were impressed by the child lock feature. Collecting the award for Neff was Dana Cukier, pictured centre with GH's Louise Chunn and Liz Kershaw.
