Stretch your Christmas budget further
Cashback websites can save you substantial sums so it's worth registering with them before you start your festive shopping. Internetcashback.co.uk offers cashback on goods from more than 700 leading online retailers, and buyers earn up to 15 per cent of the price of purchases. When your total cashback reaches £40 you'll receive a cheque.
Quidco.com also offers cashback - from up to 7 per cent off at Tesco, to 25 per cent off at Bhs. There's a £5 subscription to join Quidco, but this is taken annually from your earnings, rather than being an additional charge.
Potential annual saving: £350+
Good time to buy: Homewares. Sales start on Boxing Day, but the economic squeeze means discounts may come earlier.
