Antony Heggarty's sweetly warbling voice-and-piano torch songs might be unconventional but this Mercury prize-winning album is more accessible than some would have you believe. Nonetheless, play it late into the evening at a dinner party with coffee or another glass of wine and it'll certainly give any flagging guests something to talk about.
