The Barclays Women of the Year Award

This award was given to two exceptional and selfless women, who have shown bravery, compassion and strive to make the world a better place.

 

Shy Keenan and Sara Payne  run the Phoenix Chief Advocates, which offers independent consultation for the victims and families of sexual abuse. Sara has also tireless campaigned for the introduction of ‘Sarah’s Law’ which would give parents the right to controlled information about the whereabouts of child sex offenders
