Calling all businesswomen! Join us for an exclusive networking lunch and hear from inspirational speakers on how they nurtured their businesses.

 

Following the success of our previous SHE Means Business events, we have once again joined forces with HSBC to host two exclusive networking lunches, where women with established businesses can gain some handy insider information and share their knowledge and experiences.

 

 

 

 

Taking place in a plush Hotel du Vin in Henley-on-Thames on 18 November and Tunbridge Wells on 26 November, these events will include a delicious two-course meal, wine and coffee and there will be a talk by one of the inspiring businesswomen below.

 

Deirdre Bounds

Deirdre will be speaking at the lunch at Henley-on-Thames on 18 November. Previously a stand-up comedienne and backpacker, Deirdre had no commercial experience when, in 1995, she established i-to-i, an ethical travel company, in a bedsit above a pizza shop. By 2007, i-to-i was a global business and Deirdre sold it to a FTSE 100 company for millions. As well as being a much sought-after business speaker, Deirdre has now set up the ethical children's parties business www.partiesaroundtheworld.co.uk and is the author of Fulfilled, the hit self development book.

 

Josephine Fairley

Josephine will be speaking at the lunch in Tunbridge Wells on 26 November. In 1991, she co-founded Green & Black's, the first organic premium range of confectionery, with her husband Craig Sams. Not only did they create possibly the world's most delicious chocolate, they also made around £4m when they it sold to Cadbury Schweppes in 2005, helping to make Fairtrade fashionable and highlighting the importance of corporate responsibility. Josephine has since written over a dozen books and now runs an organic bakery and health centre with her husband.

Tickets cost £25 each and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. ticket price includes access to the event detailed here, including a two-course meal, wine and coffee, and

one SHE Experiences goodie bag per person. Tickets are non-refundable.

SHE and HSBC reserve the right to change details of this event. Return transport costs are not included and cannot at any stage be refunded by the organisers of the event.
