Make paper pom poms for Christmas wrapping

Christmas wrapping with handmade paper pom poms

These easy-to-make Christmas pom poms add vibrance to plain wrapping paper, and a touch of festive cheer.

How to make your own pom poms

Layer six to eight sheets of tissue paper, then fold ‘accordion style’, with about 4cm folds. Crease with each fold. Next, fold a piece of floral wire in half, slip over centre and twist. Trim the ends of the tissue into rounded shapes and then separate layers, pulling away from centre one at a time. Just fluff and puff until you get the look you want.
