For Father's Day: make a 'best dad' card
Any dad would be thrilled to receive a lovely handmade card
Small children may need a little help, but they'll love looking for the right letters to cut out.
You will need:
● white card
● 1m of 2.5cm-wide ribbon
● needle and thread
● old colour magazines
● glue
To make:
1. Cut a rectangle of card 18 x 23cm and fold in half.
2. Cut two 8cm pieces of ribbon. Join ends of remaining piece of ribbon together and gather one edge. Draw up gathers to approximately 7cm to make a rosette.
3. Position rosette on card with short ribbons underneath and glue in place. Cut ends of ribbon into fishtails.
4. Cut a circle of card 3.5cm in diameter and glue to centre of rosette.
5. Cut out individual letters from old magazines and glue to card to form your message.
