Make handmade birthday cards

Cut small rectangles of card for presents. Glue them to wrong side of pretty wrapping paper and cut out. Glue to a white card. Tie a knot in small pieces of narrow ribbon and glue to top of presents. Add a jewel to each present. Or cut out a rectangle of coloured card, a rectangle of paper printed repeatedly with a birthday message and cut a piece of ribbon, glue them to card on top of one another and finish with a small artificial flower and a ribbon bow.
