A night of celebrations for Comfort Prima High Street Fashion Awards
All the news and gossip from the Comfort Prima high street fashion awards
Shimmering dresses, sky-high heels, flash of the paparazzi cameras and more bling than you could shake a stick at! Yes, youve guessed it. It was the 17th annual Prima High Street Fashion Awards.
1,200 people attended the glamorous night, raising a staggering £18,500 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. The event, held at Evolution Marquee in London, was held in honour of our great British high street and the celebs turned out in their droves to show off their style credentials and support a great cause.
Coronation Street Actress and Breakthrough Breast Cancer patron Michelle Collins mixed high street with designer, looking sensational in a sleek Gail Berry dress coupled with River Island heels. Loose Women presenter Andrea Mclean wowed in a figure hugging Warehouse dress, M&S heels and accessories from Monsoon. Turning heads in a purple Lipsy number and Nine West heels, ex Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton revealed that the high street rocks my world, while singer Darius looked dapper in a Hugo Boss suit teamed with a Topman tie and shoes.
The theme for the evening was 'white and brights', inspired by Comfort White and Brights conditioner, and guests were treated to a luxurious pamper session in the Comfort Zone, before being serenaded by X Factor winner Joe McElderry - read more about Joe and see his UK tour dates here. A delicious three course meal followed, then the evening took an emotional turn as Michelle Collins welcomed on stage our Prima Women of Courage, commending them for their bravery in fighting breast cancer. See all the action from the night here.
After an electrifying catwalk show showcasing the key autumn and winter trends, hosts designer Jeff Banks and Prima Editor Maire Fahey took to the stage to announce the winners of the 20 awards for categories ranging from value-for-money to customer service. All of the winners are voted for by readers, except for the Judges' Award category. And this years winners are ...
