Flower arranging: simply stunning Singapore orchids
This special display will be a beautiful addition to any room
You will need:
● clear glass vase
● castor-oil leaves (or any attractive, large leaves you might find in the garden)
● bear grass
● florists wire
● 2 bunches of Singapore orchids
● string
Tip: Change water every few days to keep flowers healthy.
Step 1
Add water to vase and place a large castor-oil leaf inside.
Step 2
Fold five strands of bare grass in half to form a loop, and secure with wire.
Step 3
Before placing in vase, trim orchid stems and assemble as a bouquet - adding the looped grass at intervals - and tie with string.
Step 4
Place in vase. Make sure larger blooms are at the back, forming an arc. Add more grass if desired and an extra castor-oil leaf.
