Shorts definitely are the new skirt. Forget hot pants though and welcome the new Bermudas, they’re both wearable and age-appropriate. Just add a cute blouse or crisp white shirt for work, opaque tights and finish off with a cropped cardigan to balance proportions. Leg-lengthening heels are compulsory, though, to avoid the boy scout look – try heeled ankle boots or practical chunky platforms.
