Sticky sausage casserole recipe?

I used to have a great recipe for the above from a copy of Prima from about 1994/5. unofrtunately I think it got lost when we moved, or something happened to it. I'd really love to find it or something similar! It featured sausages, red peppers and mango chutney. Can anyone help please? I'd be so grateful! |

I just found it - ready for Guy Fawkes Day! Sticky Sausages 1 1/2 lb/700g cocktail sausages 8oz/225g onion, roughly chopped 2 red peppers, deseeded and roughly chopped 2tbsp/30ml oil 6tbsp/90ml spiced tomato chutney or mango chutney Preheat oven to Mark 7/425F/220C. Place cocktail sausages in a roasting tin with the onion and peppers. Drizzle over the oil and cook for 30 min, turning occasionally. Spoon over the chutney and stir to coat the sausages well. Return to the oven for a further 15-20 min or until golden brown and carmelised. |
