Good morning/afternoon lovely ladies, hope you are all well, or feeling better today. We had a lovely evening yesterday, himself came home about 5pm (full of beans!) and suggested we went to the big park in the centre of town for the firework display. Even number 2 son agreed to come. There were 20,000 people there, with live music and fire dancers, a fun fair and lots of stalls selling food. It was a really lovely atmosphere. And out of that 20,000 people our number 1 son and his g/f managed to find us! lol I was amazed. The fireworks were amazing, they lasted at least half an hour. Then it was back to our house for hot chocolate and snacks, a truly lovely evening. Well must get on and do the ironing, have a shower and try and get himself up for the promised treat of the Christmas Craft show. I'm really looking forward to it, hope himself will enjoy it as much as me lol! Pond, Sunshine and Clarrisa hope your coughs and colds are on the mend. Gizmo and MM really hope your OH's are feeling better. How's your OH and Minty Dell? Hugs to everyone feeling poorly hope you start to feel better soon. Good morning. Glad you enjoyed the fireworks Patali. You always seem to keep so busy. I've had two mugs of tea. Hubby Pete is taking James (10) to pick his suit up for my stepson's wedding today. I haven't got an outfit yet! I am hoping to get a dress. I have a nice full length overcoat and some patent leather shoes so far. I've fed the dog and the cat and now they are quiet (thank God). Not sure if to go back to bed or not but I will probably stay up. Hoping to have a relaxing day today after doing plenty of pottering about yesterday. I'm feeling a bit under the weather so hopefully I will pick up soon. Lots of love and hugs to everyone and wishing you a lovely Sunday! PS. Prima are writing to me to take up a special offer for my subscription next year. I've had a look through the December issue and there are some nice tips in it. The Christmas one is always a nice magazine isn't it? Apparently it's about seven weeks away now. Soon comes around doesn't it? Angelcake. xx |

Morning everyone - today is one of those days when I have no idea what's in store - and I'm quite looking forward to seeing what pans out. The Xmas Craft events start next weekend and Movies 24 are showing Xmas movies back to back throughout November - yep Im one big Xmas junkie lol. Hi Pat sounds like you had a superb evening last night - and how lovely to finish it all off with hot chocolates! Angel Cake I hope you soon feel a lot better - its horrible when the weather is dark and miserable outside and you are feeling under par. Give your pets a big hug and enjoy Prima Dell Im so pleased that Minty is back with you - give her lots of hugs and cuddles and she is sure to soon get her confidence back. It will have been a dreadful ordeal for her to be without you. Thank you once again to each and everyone of you for the wonderful support you've given me of late. Good morning ladies, I have been up for ages and am on my second cup of tea. I have changed my bed and put some washing on and been pottering about doing bits and pieces. I went to a firework display last night too with son and his OH and OH's mum and little sister. It sounds much like Pats except we didnt have any live music and fire dancers but they did have a big Wicker Man which they lit at the end of the fireworks. I havent been to a big organised display for years and years and I had forgotten how lovely the big fireworks are. Not up to anything exciting today just some housework and ironing and the usual sunday chores. Hi Pat, glad you enjoyed the fireworks. Have a lovely day at the Christmas Craft Show. I hope you find some nice things to buy (or for your OH to buy you - much better idea!!). Hi AC, sorry you arent feeling too good I hope you feel better soon. Have a nice relaxing day. Morning everyone! A beautiful sunny day here. The half moon was all bright & silvery when I was outside earlier. The wee birds were snatching their breakfast from the bird table. Glad you had such a great evening, Pat. Its good to see you, Angelcake - hang on in there & hope you feel better soon. And lovely to see you too Little Bear & that you are enjoying crafts & Christmas! You have been busy Lazycat - & glad you had good evening too. Didn't do much yesterday so need to shift myself today. Good morning everyone..I have been cooking 1st thing as D is coming for lunch but first we are going(attempting in my case) for a bike ride..the new bridle path opened this week so i can just open my gate and i am in the fields..we are aiming to ride round the lake and back about 7 miles,but if i have had enough i will come home..i am trying to get really fit for next week...LB it is good to see you posting...it is very early days for you at the mo,it will get better and the lovely memories you have will last forever x..Angelcake sorry you don't feel too good at the moment,buy yourself something really nice that might cheer you up a bit.(usually works for me)..Pat have a fantastic day at the craft show,let himself spoil you,can't wait to hear about it later..LC hope you manage to put your feet up for a wile in between the chores...Hi to everyone else,have a good Sunday..xxxx

Morning ladies, just a quick hello to you all, as we have to dash for football...Son is playing against his old team, so hopefully he will show them what he is made of! One of the players has been saying at school that they will thrash them, son kept saying yep you keep thinking that!! lol... Cold has come out now and i need a constant stream of tissues!
