Hello all

Thank you to Clarissa for heading me to the Prima chat site.  Looking forward to joining in. Clarrisa, really sorry to learn that your hubby has skin cancer. I was whining about my probs when you had much more serious things to deal with. Unfortunately, the menopausal mind is a bit out of control at times and makes us a bit emotionally unbalanced. Talking of which, two weeks ago I turned up with 7 young men to take my CBT training.  After an hour and half on the school playground,  my first attempt on a geared bike failed and I returned the next week to try again on a baked bean tin with a twist and go handle. Two hours on the playground later, I was ready for the road. Scarey. Us car drivers are MEAN. Two hours later and having been taken all through town, we arrive back at the playground to be given our certificates: One week later and I am the proud owner of my own motorised baked bean tin with a twist and go handle. WHY? My OH thought it might be nice if I joined him on rides out for a packet of chips at the coast.  My baked bean tin is now following a stonking great big Triumph.... Menopausal madness, never to old, whatever.. gonna give it a go.  Didn't want to be a windsurfing widow, so had a go at that, (and still do it, although still learning) and thought I might as well have a go at the biking.... Have you peeps done anything recently that makes you think you might be slightly bonkers?  Glad I've joined the site. Really bored with the Telly ...Just ordered myself Mr Motivator - hope he can.................Look forward to chatting with you. Sending best wishes Clarissa for you and your hubby - hope his follow up Op is the last one Smile

Good for you, RichTea! OIff on the bike, hormones flying in the wind - sounds dangerous! And one day that will be you on the Trump and him eating your dust (a girl can dream...)

Have a good Bank Holiday! You could be like the old Mods and Rockers, heading off to the seaside for a spot of mayhem. Although that required a Lambretta, not a proper bike: and fish and chips isn't really mayhem. Still, add in the menopause, and it's close!

All the best, BB

Ah ha you found us at last Richtea!  Come and join us for chats.

Loved your story about your baked bean can.  I used to ride a scooter, a little Honda 50cc, that's before I had to grow up and pass my driving test! lol

Hope you have fun!
