Hi Ladies

Just back from the Christmas Craft show, and my poor legs are killing me! Feet are fine because I wore my Gogh Fitflops lol!  It was connected to the Hobby Craft show, so lots of walking and lots to see and buy!!  It was really busy and as usual not enough places to sit for a minute and have a rest.  But I really enjoyed it and I think himself did too.  He kept saying isn't wonderful what you can make with a little bit of know how.

Wasn't too keen on the craft show itself, a tad bit sameish if you know what I mean, but bought a couple of Christmas presents for #1 son's girlfriend.  But the Hobby Show was well worth a visit, so much to see and try out.

The best is to come!!!  Himself bought my Christmas present!

An all singing all dancing Singer sewing machine!  It being delivered on Thursday but I'm not allowed to even open it until Christmas day.  So I'm a happy bunny and so is himself because he got me what I wanted and he said that makes him happy.

How have you all been today?  I see AL is off on her holidays, wishing you a lovely time AL.

How did your son get on at the football Pond?

Love to hear what you've all been doing.

Pat x

wooo hooooooooooooooo!! You got it!!!

so you are happy and he is happy! Thats what I call a good day out Pat!

the Hobby show sounds good, its very tempting to buy stuff to try and then never do it isnt it?  Pleased you enjoyed yourself.

Magaroo what is  the problem with bicyle manufacturers that they cant devise a comfy seat? It would make all the difference wouldnt it? But well done you. What day do you go into hospital and how long will you be in?

I have a scrap book ,had it for ages , done one page!!!

I am sure you will do better than me, and it will be good if you are stuck in for a bit.

We have just been to Dads,  my sister and BIL were there so we had a good chat and laugh which Dad enjoys.

Will watch a bit of tv, maybe read, do a bit of knitting then early bed as we were late last night , and ate late so didnt sleep too well, a bit tired but thats nothing new lol!!!

Its been great seeing the sun it was frosty last night and looks like being the same tonight.

Glad you enjoyed the Christmas Craft show. Pat and a wonderful Christmas present into the bargain.   Rather too much walking about for me, else I would have gone.  It's a pity that they don't provide more seating.

I've had another lazy day today.  How am I going to get my mojo back.  By the way, does anyone know what a "mojo" is?   I've lost mine somewhere, whatever it is.

Never mind, had a good night out last night meeting lots of old friends and family, so had a bit of a lie-in this morning and did nothing all day.

Like Yelir, I'm going to do a bit of knitting after tea and then perhaps my get-up and go will get up and go to bed.

Love & Hugs

Hi Pat,

So glad you have had a lovely day and getting the christmas present you want is a great bonus. Will you really be able to wait until christmas to have a go with it?

I have had a lazy afternoon and I am watching The Aristocats on tv at the moment.  I still have my ironing to do but its not much so wont take me long.

An early night tonight for me too I think.

love and hugs

I know what you mean by a sore bum Mags, when I used to cycle a lot himself bought me a special gel saddle, made all the difference.  Have fun with the scrap book.

Pleased to hear your Dad was OK Yelir, I was worried he may be feeling a bit down as its the anniversary of your Mum's death.  Sounds like you managed to help him through it though.

MM there was a lot of what my number 2 call's "death marching" at the show lol!  This means that you move from one foot to the other but don't get very far.  Think I may take one of those fold up chairs next time.

BTW what is a mojo?

Himself has volunteered to get a takeaway tonight so no cooking for me!!!!  Just going to relax and do a bit of knitting.

Sorry Lazycat wasn't ignoring you, you werent there when I posted.

Sounds like you've had a lovely "me" day.  Now get on with that ironing lol!!

I'm really pleased about the sewing machine, just been looking on line and reading all about it.  It does letters and numbers so I'll be able to put the company name and phone number on the lads t-shirts, himself is pleased about that, it'll save him a fortune.

It rained. And then it rained a bit more. So it was a quiet day chez BB. Mr BB did not make it as far as the barn - except to take a spade and clear away the grass that was blocking one of the doors.

I did some knitting, some cooking, taught Mr BB how to make the date and walnut loaf (he is getting either desperate or keen, haven't decided which), and spent an hour in my gym.

And then ate three dumpliings with my dinner, and a small but wicked chocolate pudding. Good thing I had already burnt them off!

The wind is from the north so it feels cold and horrid.

I have nearly finished the sleeve - only the neckband to go on the current jumper. It's quite comforting to knit something which also acts a a blanket!

Pat, your Christmas present sounds brilliant - do not touch until Christmas or Santa will come and take it away! So glad that you both enjoyed the show - foot massages all round!

Mags, did you do the whole 7 miles? My posterior salutes you! I have a gel saddle on my exercise bike - doesn't make much difference, but then I'm not as padded as I once was!

Mimimum, Pat, your Mojo is many things, depending on who you listen to. Austin Powers thought it made him a sex god - does that help?

What better for a LazyCat to do than laze about watching the Aristocats!

Yelir, remember your mum with love and laughter.

See you tomorrow! Love, BB

Pat I am pleased you have got your new sewing machine at last.  Shouldn't you just check it is all working properly before it goes away for Christmas?

Yelir, I am glad you have spent today with family, anniversaries of loved ones passing can be hard I know.

Magaroo, I can remember cycling on a very uncomfortable seat, are all seat manufacturers sadist?

Mini-mum, if you find your mojo could you ask it if it knows where mine has got to as I would like it back.

BB, 3 dumplings! I hope they were small ones, not to mention the chocolate pudding.  I have been fancying a chocolate pudding all week.

Lazycat, we won't tell anyone if you don't do the ironing, why spoil a restful day?

I have had a quiet day myself, spent the night awake coughing (getting my own back on the noisy neighbours).  OH was so kind keeping up a flow of hot drinks to soothe my chest.  We have spent the afternoon watching Deep Space 9 and recording videod concerts onto cds.

Hope everyone has a peaceful evening with no fireworks and a restful nights sleep.

Hi ladies, Pat so pleased to hear you got your machine...it is so much better getting something you want than something you don't. Bless you, you deserve it.

Son's team won footy 2-1! It was such a tight match, we only had the 11 players as 2 were not able to play...but son was pleased at result and so were we!

Mags well done on the bike ride...no wonder your behind is sore!

Enjoy your eveing Yelir, it sounds as though you had a nice day with your sister and dad.

Mini mum, my mojo comes and goes!

LC, hope you get a good nights sleep, you sound tired.

BB, date and walnut cake is delicious.

Clarissa, you sound so ill bless you, hope tonight is better for you.

Well as for me, i have had a lazy day after football...i really must go and iron son's uniform in a minute, been meaning to do it all afternoon and now it is night time!

My cold has kind of disappeared again! It seems worse in a morning then gets better during the day...

xx
